Max is a 5 year old male Deerhound Cross. He is handsome grey, wire haired deer hound type dog. He has a lovely nature and loves to play. Max had a home before he came to the shelter and had a pretty free life. He isn’t a good eater so he gets fed extra food at the shelter but he is very easily distracted and sometimes we have to hand feed him to focus on the food. He likes to play and will chase after balls but isn’t so hot on knowing what to do with them. He’s a lovely, sweet boy who we feel would fit into most environments. He adores his little friend Dora.
Dora came to shelter a few weeks ago after being captured from the local hills. She has a beautiful face and is almost the same colour as Max. She was put in the same kennel with Max and a love affair commenced.
She absolutely adores him and will cry if he is taken for a walk without her. Dora is still quite nervous but loves to play with Max and chase the ball. Because of this, we would like them to be rehomed together. They make a lovely couple and it would be sad to have to separate them.
A gorgeous goofy boy who is friendly and loving and a sweet young girl. A lovely looking little pair, both sweet and curious.
