Sandy is a 5 year old female Spanish Greyhound (Galgos). Sandy is a sweet, beautiful, and very friendly girl once she can learn to trust you, but is very timid at the first meeting of strangers.
She needs a home without children and with people who can spend a lot of time with her so that she can learn to trust people again, another dog in the household would be perfect and would certainly benefit her.
Sandy is good on the lead and likes going out for a walk, she is good with other dogs and Sandy loves to play and run with them. Sandy needs a big garden, where she can run around and play with her friend.
We are ideally looking for a home with people who are experienced with timid dogs and have another dog already for company for her. Poor girl, she was found on the beach where she had been left behind. People saw her being walked on a lead by a woman, then she let her off her lead and the people got into their car and drove away.
Poor girl was left behind and wandered the beach for a couple of days looking for her owner and hoping they would come back for her. Really beautiful girl, who has sadly been let down by humans and who deserves a loving home and the love she craves for.
