Elinor is a 2 year old female Cross-Breed. She’s from Romania where she was found living in a cave with her newborn puppies. Despite her obviously difficult former life, Ellinor is one the sweetest, most affectionate dogs her foster family has ever known!
She bonded with the entire family instantly and her absolute favourite thing in life is being fussed and cuddled! She has such a sweet and gentle nature and you can tell being in a home full of love, comfort and warmth is beyond her wildest dreams.
Ellinor has had a hard start to life so even though she enjoys walks and walks well on a lead, she is scared of strangers she encounters whilst out. She tries to get as far away from them as possible and has clearly had some traumatic encounters with humans in her past.
She will need her new adopter to be kind, patient and continue to work on building her confidence in these situations. She needs to live in a rural or semi rural area for this reason and have access to quiet walks. However Ellinor is not an energetic dog and is quite happy to potter along on a lead next to you.
Once she realises a person is kind and not going to hurt her, Ellinor is instantly won over and asking for fuss – her forgiving nature is incredible and she is absolutely adored by her foster family. She is happy to be left for short periods. Ellinor fostered Guildford, Surrey.
She is currently living with other dogs, a 10 year old child, cats and guinea pigs and has been happy living with all of them with no issues. She would make such a lovely addition to a family who has lots of time and love to offer her. She can live with other dogs, confident cats and sensible children 10yrs+.

To date we have helped dogs from Spain, Cyprus and Turkey but the majority of our work takes place in Romania where we have built up strong relationships with many dedicated rescuers before bringing the dogs to the UK and into foster care for rehoming.
